Love, Hecate | In Memory of Kadambari Devi | Poem

Legend has it that Rabindranath Tagore had nicknamed his sister-in-law, Kadambari Devi, 'Hecate', after the Greek goddess of magic and witchcraft. On 19 April 1884, Kadambari killed herself, with opium overdose. To this day, very little is known about her death, or her life, for that matter. This poem is for that Hecate. Enjoy.
